We have spent the past three years writing and recording our upcoming full-length, Alpha, and we are very happy to say that the project is now in its final stages. We are planning to release the album in late September and will announce a specific release date within the next few weeks.

Alpha is the sequel to our 2008 release, Terminus: Rebirth in Eight Parts, and picks up where the album leaves off thematically and sonically. It spans seven tracks and features over sixty minutes of music, and we feel that it is perhaps our most dynamic work yet.

Alpha features guest performances by our live keyboardist, Justin Foley, and additional field recordings provided by Niels Geybels of Sequences. Promotional photography for the album was taken by the talented Veleda Thorsson.

In the coming weeks we will release more updates and information regarding the album and a specific release date, but for the time being, we released a short promotional video for the album last month. We have officially started the recording of our upcoming full-length album, and expect to be finished with all of the recording by early next year. As we progress with the album, we will be posting studio updates and photographs of our sessions more frequently, but for now we’ll just leave a short update. We’ve begun tracking guitars and drums over the last month and hope to complete guitars, bass, and drums & percussion in the next month or two. It’s going to be a long process to get from where we are at this point to having the tracks really come together, but we’re already more than satisfied with our progress and how the rough un-mixed audio tracks are sounding.

We have completed the writing phase for our upcoming full-length album, and in just over a week we’ll be entering the studio to start recording drums and bass guitar. More details about the album will be announced in the following months as we make progress in the studio, but we expect that we’ll be able to put out an official press release regarding the album within the next few months.
